Burung Camar & Kokokan

Maggie is an Australian now living in Bali. A children’s librarian, lecturer and editor, and the author of a number of books (Secrets of the Rainforest, with artist Dailan Pugh; Conservation, with Robert Ingpen; Black in Focus). She shares Michael, Etha and Margiyono’s concern about the waste disposal problem afflicting Bali. After seeing Margiyono’s drawings, she wrote this story in English, Etha supplying the bahasa Indonesia, and friend and noted story teller Pak Made Taro the bahasa Bali. The next book in this series of three is currently under way.
