Archipelagogo
Rp100.000
Archipelagogo is collection of words, poems, songs, rants and raves, penned during my travels around the Indonesian Archipelago in the decade beginning 2002. Many of these love-song-poems about people, places and the complexities of cross-cultural relationships, have been spoken and sung acapella (archipela) to intimate audiences at literary festivals in the Asia Pacific including: Ubud Writers and Readers Festival, Utan Kayu Literary Biennale in Jakarta, Darwin’s Wordstorm, and Hong Kong International Literary Festival.
I present them here with accompanying images from the collection of wonderfully whimsical and poignant paintings by Indonesian/ Australian visual artist Jumaadi, courtesy of Watters Gallery in Sydney.
